Great chill spot for breakfast! Offers all the classic brunch staples and I would definitely come back
Stopped in for lunch, I heard they had an awesome Rueben. It did not disappoint! The fries were excellent also.My wife enjoyed the tuna on rye, which was very tasty. Melissa our server was friendly and the service was outstanding!
Great little find in westchester. Breakfast was great. Eggs cooked perfectly with melted cheese on top. Loved the taste of the sausage as well. Liked the fry and cut of the potatoes but didn't like whatever seasoning was on them. Pancakes were solid and syrup was good. Wife got half chicken salad sandwich and cup of soup. She was very happy with it. We will return
Picture another time period when A I was perhaps someone initials. So you walk into a sweet little luncheonette, you are so hungry You sit down at an old fashioned soda fountain counter. The smells are right on. You order a rarely ordered Ruben and watch the cook out what looks a lb of corned beef. Of course I am exaggerating, but it was a lot. When a gave a thumbs up, the cook beamed. So nice to see someone who has pride in their profession. It was a treat, always good when it is ordered as a food splurge. Hubby had his usual blue burger and he gave it the seal of approval
I have been going to Penn's Table since I was a kid and it is very much a family favorite of ours (especially for my dad). The food is always great but the people and the amazingly welcoming vibes are really what makes this place special. They just reopened this weekend after a renovation and I'm not quite sure how they did it because the look is updated and they are offering some new items (including dinner which I cannot wait to try) but the place feels exactly the same in the best way! It looks great inside but we got the same warm welcome, awesome food, and comfortable laid back vibe. It's is the perfect Saturday morning breakfast spot and a true West Chester staple! If you have not been here you are absolutely missing out!
